Cross-Border Local
Most local passengers on the Standedge route turned round short of the summit tunnel but a few worked across the Lancashire / Yorkshire border, including the 09:14 from Manchester Victoria to Leeds, photographed approaching Diggle on a misty 17 April 1987 worked by an unidentified Metro Cammell Class 101.
