Orange For Now
66605 passed the site of Grafton Curve Junction with 6A50, the 10:26 Whatley Quarry to Hanwell Bridge Loop stone train, on 8 April 2026 and is one of only two 66/6s to carry the attractive Freightliner orange livery. It's known that locos allocated to Heavy Haul Rail will lose their Freightliner branding in the coming months but how long they will retain the orange and black colours is uncertain.
