458510 and 458516 took the London line at Wokingham Junction with 2C44, the 14:26 from Reading to Waterloo, on 8 May 2022. After a few years when these units monopolised Reading - Waterloo services, the 450s returned in force in 2022, displacing the 458s from most workings for the third time in their careers.
