Unexpected Units
Melton Mowbray isn't the first place you would think of to photograph a pair of Class 455 3rd rail EMUs but 455706 and 455739 passed through on 1 December 2025, hauled by 37800. With the demise of Unimetals in Newport, the units were being taken to Derby for storage prior to scrapping. The working was 5Q57, an 11:22 from Wimbledon Park Depot to Litchurch Lane.
