Tan House Bridge
The new Tan House footbridge offers a good view of Wokingham Junction but it took almost a year to build. The original bridge over the Guildford line was demolished in December 2023 and the new main deck moved into place in February 2024 but then nothing happened for months. The company due to supply the steps had collapsed and it was November before the structure was completed and opened to the public. 450057 and 450035 headed for Waterloo with 2C36, the 12:09 from Reading, on 20 November 2024.
