The Class 91 is a high-speed Bo-Bo electric loco introduced in 1988 to work express passenger services on the newly electrified ECML. Over half the 31 locos were withdrawn when IETs took over most workings around 2019 with many scrapped. The survivors are used on London - Yorkshire services.
