On The Ash Pit
ZE Class 2-8-2 No.37 sat over the ash pit at Gondia Jn shed on 27 October 1986. The ZE was a standard IRS 2'6" gauge 2-8-2 design dating from the 1920s although many were built post-war. No.37 was one of those built after independence.
