Conversion
No.664 approaching Abhanpur with train 2 RD on 28 October 1986. NBL built 24 C Class Pacifics for the BNR narrow gauge lines between 1906 and 1908. They became CC Class at a later date when they were rebuilt with superheated boilers, the second 'C' standing for converted. There were also ten C Class built in 1914 that were not converted and five CS Class locos built with superheating in 1915 but these had disappeared long before 1986 .
