Over The Top
ZE Class 2-8-2 No.44 crossed the broad gauge main line around a kilometre east of Gondia Junction with train 6BN, the 05:47 mixed from Nainpur Junction, on 27 October 1986. The train was running around 90 minutes late, nothing unusual on long narrow gauge lines with few passing places. No.44 was built by Kawasaki, No. 3228 of 1954.
