Katangi Passenger
ZE Class 2-8-2 No.25 departed Gondia Junction with train 3 GK, the 15:30 to Katangi, on the afternoon of 27 October 1986. The loco was climbing the ramp leading to the bridge over the broad gauge lines east of Gondia and would then head north for 41km to Balaghat Junction before branching off to the west for another 47km to its destination. This was one of 25 ZEs built by Krauss-Maffei, No.17809 of 1952.
