08:25 on the morning of Saturday 26 September 2015 and the weekend rush was well underway. 218.363 and 218.314 led eastbound SyltShuttle AS-K1413 down the ramp off the Hindenburgdamm at Klanxbüll with the brakes hard on and smoking. Westbound AS-K1412 hadn't yet cleared the single-track section from Lehnshallig and the signal at the far end of the station was still on.
