Class 222s continued to run almost daily on what appeared to be a route refresher turn via Melton Mowbray at the end of 2025. 222101 headed south from Wymondham LC with 5M17, the 08:43 from St Pancras to Cricklewood via Corby, Leicester and Corby (again), on 19 December.
