Efficiency vs Resilience
After photographing 91105 departing from Kings Cross with the 16:03 departure to Leeds, I was surprised to see it return just under 5 hours later to work the 21:33 to Leeds. Such intensive diagramming is not uncommon these days and allows efficient utilisation of rolling stock but leaves little scope for recovery when things go wrong. Fortunately things were running smoothly on the evening of 10 December 2025.
