Up Starter
There are still quite a few semaphore signals on the Leicester to Peterborough route but most are difficult to include in photographs. Fortunately the Up Starter at Ashwell is well positioned close to Gatehouse Crossing. 66310 passed the signal with 4L05, the 05:45 Ditton to Felixstowe containers, running almost 2 hours late on 3 December 2025.
