A Period of Clarity
17 April 1987 started with thick mist and ended with an unpleasant smoggy haze. In between there was a brief period of clarity during which 45113 headed west through Marsden with 1M26, the 12:53 from Scarborough to Holyhead. 45113 still had a year of service ahead of it when the photo was taken but went in August 2008.
