Lucky or Unlucky
A lucky patch of sun lit 31464 as it rounded the curve at Buxworth with 1E47, the 15:45 Liverpool to Hull passenger, on the afternoon of 29 May 1986. The loco wasn't so lucky in 1990 when it became an early withdrawal following accident damage. It was cut up the following year.
