Reincarnated
Class 458/4s were new to the Reading line in 2025 but in their previous incarnations as Classes 458/0 and then 458/5 they had been the mainstay of the service for much of the past 3 decades. 458414 and 458417 passed Wokingham Junction with 2C38, the 12:54 from Reading to Waterloo, on 23 November 2025.
