60028, working top'n'tail with 60055, approached Barrow-upon-Soar with 6A23, an 11:36 stone train from Derby's Chaddesden Sidings to Wembley Yard, on 2 November 2025. The pair had worked the loaded train from Penmaenmawr Quarry in North Wales to Derby the previous afternoon, stabled overnight, and were now on their way to London via Leicester and the WCML, with a reversal at Nuneaton.
