A New Class
It's always nice to get your first picture of a new class of loco particularly if it's in good light at a nice location. 93004 was running top'n'tail with 93005 on a couple of barriers, or more correctly coupling converter coaches, on 5Q46, a 12:54 Derby RTC to Ely Papworth Sidings, on 28 October 2025. It wasn't the first duty for a Class 93 in normal service, which had been a similar move a few weeks earlier, but was arguably the second, if you discount light engine moves.
