Cross Country's rainbow Class 170, 170618, was photographed approaching Melton Mowbray from the west with 1L34, the 09:22 Birmingham New St to Stansted Airport, on 30 June 2025. Melton Junction is just visible under the bridge with the connection to Old Dalby, formerly the Midland Railway's main line to Nottingham, disappearing to the right.
