Wrong Way
The Reading - Waterloo line through Wokingham is often used by special trains heading back to London Victoria after a day out somewhere but they usually go towards London, not away from it. 67024 was photographed running towards Reading with 1Z84, the 18:56 Ascot to Victoria, formed of the VSOE Pullmans with 67021 on the back, on 21 June 2025. The reason for the unusual routing is unknown but it provided a rare opportunity to photograph a long loco hauled train at this location between Wokingham and Winnersh.
