Stranger In Town
Class 66s are rarely seen on freight in the Aberdeen area so the opportunity to photograph 66847 standing in for the usual Colas Class 70 on 6R38 was not to be missed. The 14:05 Aberdeen Waterloo to Irvine Caledonian Paper tanks was captured passing Newtonhill on 30 April 2025.
