Dun Valley Double Header
66504 and 66543 wound their way up the valley of the River Dun with a long 7V50 late on the afternoon of 5 March 2025. The 14:21 empties from Wembley Yard to Merehead Quarry was formed of empties from both Brentford and Acton and was photographed passing Fairfield Crossing near Little Bedwyn. Another pole shot and one that almost went wrong as I must have inadvertently knocked something causing the camera to start misbehaving immediately after this shot.
