Icebreaker
De-icing trains, officially Snow and Ice Treatment Trains (SITTs), do much of their work at night but sometimes venture out in daytime as well. 3Y88, the 09:15 from Totton Yard, ran via Basingstoke, Woking and Guildford to Havant on Sunday 2 March 2025 before retracing its steps to Totton. The train, worked by 66776 top'n'tailing with 66720, is seen here passing Potbridge on the outward leg.
