The Upturned Bathtub
What an ugly engine! SL7 751 had recently been restored to working order by Sujiatun museum and there was even talk of using it on tourist trains between Shenyang and Dalian, the route it was originally built for in the mid-1930s. To date, these plans have come to nothing. The loco was steamed for our visit to the museum on 2 January 1985 and we experienced the thrill of being shunted up and down the yard at walking pace.
