Russian Plate
Several of the Skoda built type 37E locomotives were seen with Russian language builders plates. This one was on No.1526, preserved at Guchengzi. The locos were built at the time of Soviet technical assistance and may have been part of a batch originally supplied to the USSR.The plate reads Works V.I. Lenin, Plzen, National Enterprise, Czechoslovakia.
