One of the earliest surviving steam locos in China is this very British looking 2-6-0 preserved at Beijing Railway Museum and numbered MG35. It's thought to be one of a number of similar locos built by the Peking Mukden Railway at its workshops at Tangshan between 1903 and 1916, based on an earlier Dübs design, and becoming MG1 Class in the 1951 numbering scheme.
