New Recruit
57303 was one of four ex-DRS Class 57s acquired by GBRf in late 2023 / early 2024 and added to the variety of locomotives seen on unit drags for SWT in recent years. The loco was in commendably clean condition when it passed Potbridge with 5X64, the 11:35 Wembley Yard to Southampton Central ECS, conveying newly refurbished 458421 from Widnes to Bournemouth Depot on 16 April 2024.
