66306 had been in traffic with GBRf for less than a month when it passed Basingstoke with 6Y83, the 18:19 Southampton Western Docks to Tonbridge West Yard gypsum, on 27 February 2024. The loco wasn't new, it had been working in Europe as CB Rail 1001 since 2007 and arrived in the UK at the end of 2022 to undergo conversion to UK specs.
