Centrifugal Force
390011 leaned into the reverse curves at Lowgill as it sped south on 1M07, the 06:29 from Glasgow Central to Euston, on 19 March 2025. I can clearly remember flying round the curves behind a pair of Class 50s in the early 1970s, desperately trying to keep my tea in its cup. A far more effective lesson in the effects of centrifugal force than I ever got in school.
