Vegetation clearance in late 2015 opened up a number of locations on the GW Main Line between Twyford and Maidenhead. One such position was at Shottesbrooke where the shot of trains on the Up Fast line was much improved.43.042 and 43.130 raced towards Paddington with 1L42, the 07:30 from Carmarthen, on 19 February 2016, a few months before the electrification masts went up.
