73.005 worked what appeared to be a boat train eastwards towards Pirbright Junction on 12 July 1990. The loco was one of the first batch of 6 class 73s, built at Eastleigh in 1962, and remains in service almost 60 years later as 73.966, one of GBRf's fleet of re-engined locos dedicated to Caledonian Sleeper duties.
