A Well Earned Break
While 55 017 had turned up regularly during December 1981, some of the other locos were more elusive. This was the only shot I got of 55 007, taking a well earned break at the buffers at King's Cross after arriving with 1E40, the 19:25 Aberdeen to King's Cross sleeper on 24 December 1981. The train had obviously encountered some snow en-route from Edinburgh where "Pinza" had taken over.camera : Canon FTb
