Welcome Back
458421 and 458417 approached Old Forest Road, north of Wokingham, with 2C45, the 15:09 from Waterloo to Reading, on 25 May 2025. This was the first time I'd seen any of the recently refurbished Class 458/4 units west of Virginia Water, although in their earlier incarnations as 458/0 and 458/5 they spent much of their time on the Waterloo - Reading route.
