387.157 and 387.170 waited to leave Reading with 2N50, the 15:57 from Paddington to Didcot Parkway, on 24 August 2019. The 387s took over local services on the Paddington - Reading and Paddington - Didcot routes at the beginning of 2018 but were replaced on Paddington - Reading services by Crossrail Class 345s at the end of 2019.
