Artless Gallery
59.004 headed west from Kintbury with 7C77, the 12:41 Acton T.C. to Merehead Quarry stone empties, conveniently running 100 minutes late on 1 June 2021 so the light was better when it passed. In an age of palisade fencing and CCTV it should be possible to keep rolling stock free of graffiti but the Mendip Rail wagon fleet just seems to be plastered with the stuff. It wouldn't be so bad if it had any artistic merit but it's just the same tediously repetitive, unimaginative dross time and time again, more bonehead than Banksy.
