Foresight
Many of the bridges along the GWML were obviously built with electrification in mind, leaving sufficient clearance for the wires. It's good that these historic structures have escaped destruction but a shame we won't be able to see them through all the steelwork.Former DRS 66.420 was about to pass under the Winston Way bridge at Purley-on-Thames with 4O54, the 06:12 Leeds - Southampton Freightliner, on 9 September 2014.
