The 76 Class 350s are 4-car 25kV EMUs from the Siemens Desiro Mainline range, built for outer suburban and long distance services from 2005. They are very similar to the Class 450 750V DC units. All 350s are now with London Northwestern, part of WMT, but 10 were used by Trans Pennine until 2020.
The 350s have the same bodyshell as the 450s in service with South Western Railway, with the doors set in from the ends, and the first 30 units were originally ordered as 450s and are equipped for dual voltage operation.

Seating layout varies within the class. The first 30, classified 350/1 were intended for longer distance routes and are fitted with 2+2 seating. These units were originally ordered as 450s and are equipped for dual voltage operation. The next 36, built from 2008, were intended for outer suburban duties and have 3+2 seating. The final batch, 10 350/3 for London Midland and 10 350/4 for Trans Pennine, built from 2013, all had 2+2 seating. After a period working services between Liverpool/Manchester and Edinburgh/Glasgow, the TPE units joined the other 77 working for West Midlands Trains, successor to London Midland. All are authorised for 110mph operation.
