My 1980/1981 visit to Villablino was characterised by clear skies and sub-zero temperatures, excellent conditions for photography as long as the engines were steamtight but problematic when they leaked. No.14 did its best to hide behind a cloud of leaking steam as it approached Villablino on 2 January 1981.
