The Old New Order

t’s usually good news for photographers when an older class takes over from more modern traction and the replacement of Class 146.2s with class 111s on most Stuttgart - Singen REs is no exception.

111.164 pulled into the loop at Grünholz, between Sulz and Oberndorf, with RE 19032, the 08:18 Singen - Stuttgart RegioExpress service, on Sunday 30 April 2017.

This train is unusual in being worked by a pairing of class 426 and 425 EMUs during the week but is loco hauled at weekends.
