Wallmerod Bound
Although most spoil from the Kaiser Wilhelm Tunnel workings at Ediger-Eller went south to a site at Wittlich, some was taken on a much longer journey north to be dumped in a disused clay pit at Wallmerod, north-west of Limburg, a round trip of almost 300km.272.001 left Bullay with a train of spoil for Wallmerod on 9 July 2011.
