Reichsbahn Refugee
Many former Deutsche Reichsbahn locos have found a new life in the west, among them modern class 112 fast passenger locomotives. In 2006, the 112s shared passenger duties on the Würzburg - Gemünden line with classes 111, 143 and occasionally, 146. 112.167 was photographed south of Wernfeld with RE4612, the 12:02 Nürnberg - Frankfurt, on 27 October 2006.
