Freight Extra
During my July 2005 visit freight traffic was heavy with a number of additional trains running. The extra traffic could have been due to engineering work on the line from Jihlava north to Havlickuv Brod which prevented traffic from the Ceske Budejovice direction following the normal all-electric route to Brno. Whatever the reason, 750.243 was a very welcome sight as it dragged a long southbound goods around the curves at Bitovcice on the afternoon of Wednesday 27 July 2005.camera : Nikon D70
