A Pleasant Surprise
I'd realised that the 14:07 from Ceske Budejovice to Nove Udoli on 15 September 2011 might well be the last train booked for 749 haulage that I ever photographed and hoped it wouldn't turn up with a railbus like the previous working. The depot rose to the occasion by rostering their smartest loco, 749.051. I'd never managed to photograph this engine in sun before and it only just arrived at my spot east of Horice na Sumave before the next cloud swept in from the west.camera : Nikon D700
