A Dying Breed
Very few class 831 railcars remained in traffic in 2005 but a number of these venerable units still operated from Klatovy depot, working into Domazlice from the east on a couple of trains each day. 831.168 was waiting to leave Domazlice on train Os17537, the 14:17 to Klatovy, on 23 June 2005. Ironically, this train was booked for one of the later class 810 railcars which have displaced so many of the 831s over recent years. On the left, 754.057 had just backed down onto the stock for Os7417, the 14:35 to Plzen.
