Northbound trains face a stiff climb from from Lipova Lazne to Lipova Lazne Jeskyne, situated in a saddle in the hills a couple of km north of town. From Jeskyne the line drops into the Vidnavka valley, which it follows out of the hills onto the Silesian plains.
