The Zamek (castle) stands guard over the picturesque Smeda valley at Frydlant v Cechach. This view shows 753 372 and 753 211 working train Rn44213, the 14:45 Zawidow to Liberec goods, on the climb from Frydlant to Raspenava on 19 May 2005. Beyond Raspenava the gradient steepens for the final 5 km to the summit north of Oldrichov v Hajich.
