High deflectored QJ 3255 posed by the coaling stage at Bei'an shed as the sun set on 16 March 1999.
Bei'an was one of the last steam depots in Harbin Bureau and within a year of our March 1999 visit, steam operation had ceased, not just at Bei'an but across the whole bureau.
