Sandaoling Mining Railway
Red RocksThe rocks in the pit at Sandaoling come in varying colours, particularly at the higher levels where yellows and reds replace the uniform grey found lower down. Brilliant afternoon light picked out the reds in this shot of JS 8078 pushing a loaded spoil train out of the pit on 21 November 2009.
