Signs of Spring
By 6 March 1992 winter was loosening its grip on the east of Jilin Province. The snow had gone from the hills but the river, the Hunjiang, was still frozen. JS 5883 drifted down towards Daoqing on the line from Tonghua to Hunjiang with an eastbound freight in the early afternoon.
